A great introduction to the world of carving in soft stone. Investigate the simplified forms of Inuit to modern art. Create a small but memorable handheld sculpture. Required materials: Soap Stone carving kit from Curry’s, approximately $15.
A workshop for beginners and advanced alike. A fun way to free up your brush, experiment with colour and wet on wet applications. Supply List: Watercolour paper, board, paints, brushes, sponges, water containers, paper towels / rags or a $4 fee can be paid to instructor, if materials are needed.

A hands-on workshop which takes you through the basic of glass cutting, with this knowledge create a design for your stone, prepare the mould, and pour your concrete for a beautiful stone for your garden or a table top. Material fee of $30 payable to the instructor. Finished stone to be picked up after Wednesday 8th Feb.
This ALL LEVELS workshop will concentrate on compositional design, dramatic light and colour. An exploration of seasonal details will be integrated into an Ontario landscape. A hands on approach will be emphasized.
Create funky, traditional or classy jewellery. Learn simple wire techniques to create custom looks, also chainmaking and more! Beads, wire supplied and tools for use. Material fee of $30 to be paid to instructor at the first of the two workshops.
