Received early art training in her native Chicago, and later at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy. Studied with ISA founder & Director Nicholas Carone, and other painters including Wayne Theibaud, Ruggero Savinio and Andrew Forge Solo and group exhibitions of her work in have been held in Canada, Italy, and the US. In Ontario she is represented by Gallery on the Bay in Hamilton and Harbinger Gallery in Waterloo. Is currently the Director of the International School of Art Continuing Education Program in the beautiful Umbrian hilltown of Todi (see www.giotto.org--which also has other examples of her work) Teaches collage, mixed-media and modern painting and painting in the urban landscape at DVSA. Welcomes serious students of all levels. Has boxes of evocative junk she can't wait to use in her work, but still loves painting from observation!
