Janice has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia. She studied jewellery making at Mohawk College and the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. She has also been practicing the lapidary arts for the past twelve years. Currently, she teaches at the DVSA, Mohawk College, and Michael's Craft Store. The Carnegie Gallery and Gallery on the Bay show and sell her jewellery.
