taught the first class ever held in present location.
Scholarship student at the Doon School of Art and the
Ontario College of Art personally arranged by A.J. Casson
– Group of Seven. Private studies with Hortense
Gordon of Painters Eleven, Carl Schaefer, Franz Kline.
Teaching posts at University of Western Ontario, UCLA,
the Historic Banff School of Fine Arts – University
of Alberta, Lakehead University, the Historic Artists
Workshop of London. Gordon was the founding Director of
the Chatham Cultural Centre and has had studios in Los
Angeles, Venice, Tangier, Mexico, Spain.
