Catherine Gibbon is a painter who lives in Dundas and maintains a studio in Greensville. Her art concentrates on nature and the environment and its impact in our lives. As a regular exhibitor, her work is shown in public Galleries across Canada and is represented in a number of public and private collections. She is also a recipient of many grants and awards.
As an advocate of cultural and environmental concerns, she is a founding member of the Carnegie Gallery. She has also worked as writer, consultant and is the editor of ON THE EDGE , a book which features regional artist's interpretations of their environment.
