Barry Hodgson

Practicing artist and associate curator of Gallery on the Bay, Hamilton. Current projects include oil and mixed media landscapes and large ink, pastel and watercolour butterflies.

Training:

Barry has a BA in fine art from the University of Guelph. He has 12 years experience in preparation and installations in public art galleries including the MacDonald Stewart Art Centre, Harbourfront Gallery and the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Exhibitions:

Barry has participated in solo and group exhibitions in public and private galleries in Ontario, Alberta and Newfoundland. He is currently represented by Gallery on the Bay in Hamilton and Ingram Gallery in Toronto. Barry’s work can be found in many public collections, including the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Alberta Art Foundation and Wilfred Laurier University. Private collectors reside in Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Australia.
